Warn is the only way to go
Don't throw you autos away there is a guy in Germany (i think) that needs them. Here is the thread so you can email him.

They can be swapped in an hour or so. You will want to grease your wheel bearings, and replace the wheel seal while doing it.
The price varies, but the last time I looked they were around $150 for the Warn Premium hubs.

The auto's work fine, on teh street, as long as oyu aren't stuck.
They don't engage unless they are rolling forward. So most people wait til they are stuck, pop it in 4wd, and step on the gas. If/When the auto's engage, there is normally too much torque being sent to them, and they explode.
With manuals, you lock them before you might need 4wd, but leave the xfer case in 2wd, then stop and shift into 4wd when needed. They are locked in for sure, and don't blow up when you need them most.
