I had a turbo 400 with a shiftkit in it when I had 33's and 3.73's... was good.. goto a mudpit and FLOOR IT... well that was fun I guess... hill climbs were ok... until I ripped out a tranny fluid line....
so one less fluid to worry about....
then I went to a smc465 with 33's and 4.56's and WOW is all I could say...
yes you have to watch the tach.. I bounce 5k all day long and easliy too...
however those same hillclimbs that I had problems with.... right up now.... the power control is so nice..
in an auto you can do a stahl converter but it is nice to have the stick.. you get into something gooey... rev up and feather the clutch and when it catches HAMMER IT!!!!!
