auto to standard conversion

Anyone here gone from auto to stick in their blazer? Getting ready to do it in my 79, I have all the stuff I'll need, just curious as to how much of a PIA it was to do, going to put in a 465/np208 mechanical shift linkage. Thanks

i just recently did it, id recomend going hydraulic insted of mechanical
