A little taste;
first I finally got the tranny installed (SM465)
now need to get a hydro clutch system installed. the bell housing is the old style mechanical linkage type, complete with Mechanical fork.
I need pics and part ##'s of what I need as far as what slave cylinder and master to purchase and the brackets necessary to mount the slave to the bell housing. and some detailed pics of where to mount the Master cylinder. remember I have the mechanical linkage, clutch pedal also.
I know this cam be done. I've just never done it.

HELP please...:confused::confused:

I all ready searched for a tech write up, to no avail. has anyone installed a Hydraulic clutch Master cylinder and a Slave cylinder on a chev truck that didn't all ready have one?

Yes, many have including myself. However the majority of us use the hydro pedal assembly, and hydro bell too. If you're wanting to utilize the mech stuff it'll be potentially more of a pain in the ass.

You could try doing it this way:

Adaptor bracket to bolt up Landcruiser slave to GM non hydro bellhousing.

Landcruiser slave, rod and hose:

Then you'd still need a 'cruiser clutch master and find a way to set up a rod off the current pedals, get the stroke the right length etc etc.

Thanks Rene. I'm going to pick up the Chevy Master and Slave, Then I'll use my Semi-awesome noggin and of course some more custom made **** ( just like the rest of the truck, why not?) and see if I can get that stuff to function together.

I have that bracket all ready. the focking thing doesn't line up with my stock clutch fork!
It bolts up to the bell housing and everything, but, does not line up with the clutch fork at all. Not even close!

Did this ever get sorted out? Pics and more info if ya did it, please! I'm staring at my mechanical pedal set on the floor here, and I have a mechanical bell & everything else sitting under a tarp. I don't want mechanical linkage, I have enough problems relating to frame flex already!
