Very cool, but how do you keep from bumping into other gears? Most auto floor shifters have a button of some kind to keep it locked in gear. I find myself bumping my shifter in my Trailblazer a lot just reaching for my soda or something. That looks like just a bump with your knee and you'd be in Reverse just like that....
Check the shifter knob pic again. You have to depress the center part (that says PRND21 on it) to move the shifter. I don't think it's a fully ratcheting shifter, but it is a detent shifter at the very least.
functions like stock. detent for park and safty to keep from going back to reverse.
if all the way in low 1 you can just push up to second then third with out button. and go to N with out button. but have to use button for reverse or park.
works great and love it. had the 4 speed hole from when the truck was 4 speed. but for plowin i got tired of stick and swaped in a th400/205. so no swapin the steering colum and adding linkage stuff. was just cheeper and faster to use the lokar.
