Ok so since I just installed my new full autometer gauge cluster, I've been loving it but its been giving me problems. The speedo is a phantom 3 3/8" mechanical speedo with a Lokar speedo cable. Now in the first 100 miles on the speedo driving down the highway at 70ish, I notice the speedo keeps reading faster and faster then the needle pins itself fully rapped around. So i get to where I am going and i check the speedo cable and it is all full connected on both ends and hasn't melted on the exhaust or anything. Then driving it around town the thing starts working propperly again for a mile or two then starts reading really fast then pegs itself back out again. It keeps on doing this. This is a brand new speedo that i bought in september but finally just installed it so my 90 day warenty is no good. Anyone have any ideas on whats going on?
