Ok,so all the part numbers running around are for the Ford Shock tower conversion. Does anyone have a part number for just a standard 4in/5in lift??? I need front and rear shocks and I dont want to pay $30 per for the crappy RS3000/5000 Rancho stuff.

Thanks!

Here is info I have seen posted before.

Front: Gabriel G63437 (Gas Ryder Lt, VST) Collapsed/Expanded: 14"/23"
Rear: Gabriel G63438 (Ultra, G-Force) Collapsed/Expanded: 18"/30"

Were stated to be same length of shock that came with the poster's 4" lift kit. Also said lifetime warranty on those shocks.

Cool thanks!!!! trying to get my Blazer on the road by 01/08! More questions coming /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Are the Monroes better than the Gab's?

probably the same
the store I can get a discount at doest carry Gabriels, so I get retailed $210cdn a set from their competition
$36cdn each for the Monroes my cost (ranchos 5000 are $80cdn ish)
I am going to try them next, had the Gabs last time
problem is none in the system I have to wait a loong time to get them

Rancho = Monroe btw, same brand.......

Really neither Gabrial nor Monroe is better, they're direct compeditors. If you want performance, go Bilsteins. Otherwise, go Gabrial/Monroe. IMO, there is no in-between.

the Gab numbers come up as 4" lift shocks when I was trying to cross them to Monroe

I just left Gabriel's web site, where put in those part numbers. The first vehicle listed that they fit were K5 Blazers with a 4" lift, exc. quad shocks.
