yup, they're bandaids for bad back angles.. and makes the front much worse... just keep it in mind, that putting it where it belongs and correcting any angle issues out back would be best long term.....

no driveline vibes?

Honestly not at all. It used to be bad before I added the shims.i do t drive over like 65 tho it's all im the city or off road so I don't really notice. Plus the whole damn truck shakes from the roads out here haha

yup, just stuff you want to be aware of when it comes to future parts, etc.. while cool, and more fun, a raptor setup may not be the best place for your $$$... maybe putting the t-case how it should be (even temp) , checking the actual angles you need and chopping your perches off and burn in a nice HD and eliminate the shim altogether (cheap)... or really go nuts and do a new cv shaft combined with that....

just food for thought.... :)

with a 4", you could get away without a CV, but it certainly wouldn't hurt... ;)

and just a disclaimer to all that.. you may very well still have a chirp, I'm not familiar with the Grizzly... as much as a Detroit, etc.. nature of the beast sometimes...

but at least you'd know the driveline is right.. ;)

No disclaimer if this doesn't fix it you gotta remeburse me haha. But yeah its definitely work looking into now
 
Oh okay I see what you mean. I was like hold up I didn't like Carolina squat my tcase or some shit haha
thats why i capitalized a few big key words to hope you got this the first time . . but glad you understand it now .

cheep c/v rear shaft if you can fix yoke your t-case easy is the ford super duty 250/350 front shaft . its a 1350 c/v head and 1350 rear yoke . i did one for a guy and it was super nice after . she was 5" suspension and 37" tires smooth as can be at 90mph .
 
Does that shim have the spot for the head of the center pin machined flat? Or is the center pin head not loaded evenly when tightened?
 
They also make a tapered spacer that goes between the center pin head and the shim, to account for the angle difference without shortening the reach of the pin. Or at least they used to, I can't seem to find any now.
 
The chirping of the tires won't go away. The locker is not the cause. I have one truck with a truetrac that does it, (not as much now as when it had 33's) and my C10 has a stock, worn posi. Both have hard shifting 700R4 transmissions. The C10 has the coil spring rear suspension with long arms.

Just enjoy it , and fix the spring bolt problem.
 
The lowering of the Tcase makes the distributor closer to the firewall. I have my Tcase dropped and it's been fine, so far. I did make a custom spacer type thing as recommended from members here, to distribute the clamping force to wider area

it's the front shaft output angle that is the prob with spacing them down..
