Keep the AZ Crew updates coming. :D

By the way did u tow your buggy behind your Suburban? If so how'd it do?

I talked to Jason. He broke a driveshaft on Widowmaker :doah: He's going to get it fixed up later so he can break something else on Pritchett tomorrow :p:

Actually, it looks to be an axlewrap issue this time. He bound up the rear u-jount and broke the yoke off the square shaft I made. He said the welds held fine, it was the yoke casting itself that broke :doah:

He admitted he was full throttle trying to climb Widowmaker when it let go..... :D

i wasent saying anything about your shafts last year he replaced the deverter valve twice and bent a drive shaft. i know the drive shaft didn't bend but still a drive shaft issue none the less

on another note, the party last night was fun i cant believe Jason agreed to let you have a party wile he was out of town :haha: ha ha just kidding Jason, (i wasn't invited)

Day 3 :

Jason carnage BAD .

Juan climbs everything .

My master cylinder from Travis suddenly leaks under resevoir , then suddenly stops . And I need a new rear wheel cylinder AGAIN .

Everyone else was doing good .

Cliff notes:

Day 1. Leave PHX 9:30-ish. Pass AZ trailer gang outside Blanding.

Day 2. Get roped into leading Metal Masher. Miss right turn, go to Widowmaker first, then run trail backwards. New experience, but in the spirit of MrK5.... Traction Bar came off the axletube, again . Big thanks to James Watson for welding it back on. My truck now has a WallyWeld  :waytogo:. 180 pics.

Day 3. Traction bar reinstalled. Can't make up my mind re trails, end up in Pritchett . Too strung out to work the camera. Winched by Stephen on the first hill. Dent in driver's door from being between a rock and a hard place. Break short side stub, mangle spindle on the approach to the bypass to RockerKnocker. 5-760 u-joint w/ full circle snap ring held up, shaft twisted off. Thank to Jason for changing out my axleshaft, and for a new spindle. Drive bypass to Rockerknocker. Winch myself up Suicide Hill, and also the bypass to Rockpile; thanks to Dave for spotting, and all the helper rocks. Manage to drive Yellow hill; need to work on pokerface/facial expression as everyone was saying that I hit the locker buttons and the panic button at the same time :eek1:. Drive out the long way with the A/C on :p:. Hang out with Dave, thanks for everything, my friend. Finally food at midnight, almost fell asleep at Denny's. Only 1 pic; my truck atop Pritchett :D.

Day 4. No more adrenaline left. BS with the gang, BB08 sticker installed above new dent, then bail. Scenic route to AZ, Moab-Green River-Hanksville-Escalante-Kanab. HIE in Kanab has wireless that works...more driving tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who rode the trails with me, it was simply awesome. And a big thanks to all of ORD - without you, this would not have been possible. And of course, thanks to Scott and Nicole for keeping the Bash alive and well.

Day 5. Scenic route; Kanab-Marble Canyon-Cameron-Flagstaff-Lake Mary-Happy Jack-Pine-Payson-Fountain Hills. Boarding pass for tomorrow printed; truck about to go back to storage.

I've put a DVD with images together, dating back to 2005; Blazer Bash of various years, AZ trucks, some AZ wheeling; some ORD; no fancy slide shows, just about 400 images; no e-mail, it's 1.8 gigs, the files are fullsize. Travis/Dustin/Pauly/Jason/Juan/Brent/whoever I've missed - PM me if you want one as I need an address; one copy is going to Vikinwarlord already.
