The stock front springs are negatively arched. That is not a big deal. Does it have two or three front springs?

As for the axle, no point in swapping an axle over wheel studs. I assume you mean the lug studs?

Yeah we will see if we can get the wheels off. But his plan for this build is to make a mild camper/offroad rig
