Cool build. Sounds like a solid plan.

You mentioned possibly building a grille. I'm interested to see what you come up with.

Going to be out at McCullouh tonight checking out hot rods
I have a 14 bff I'm on the fence about keeping, 4.10 g80 gov lock. Iirc.

4 spd, a sm465? I have 1 of those mated to a np205.
I had sm465 4.1 and 33's on one burb worked well.
If you go 35 min with a manual would 4.1 I'd even consider 4.56

I had 4.88 with my last one on 37’s and the top speed was 55mph

I pull 3rd towing on hills 3200 to 3800. Engine makes great power there even get to back out of the throttle from matted in 4th

Yeah I liked mine. High gear is 1 to 1 on th350 or sm465 only diff is locked compared to torque converter. Converter will carry a few more rpm
