I have a 52” curved light bar that came with the truck. But I don’t really like the way they look. Idk I’ll mock it up there first and see if I like it. The issue with the round lights is it can hinder the storage capacity up top.
Yes the cost is divorce worthy I reckon lolNot a fan of the cubes and rectangular light bars on anything. Truly overplayed everywhere.
If you want modern kick ass led lights in round packaging look at the new KC lights with led that look like the old Daylighters or the gravity line. Rigid had the 360 series lights in 4” and 6” diameters as well as Baja Designs LP6 and LP4 designs.
Only downside is cost. But they are all high quality units.
I can buy them through work but even our cost is stupid for them.Yes the cost is divorce worthy I reckon lol
We don’t have any street lights out here and it gets dark super quick.I can buy them through work but even our cost is stupid for them.
My plan is to get some basic halogen KC’s and retrofit H1 led bulbs to them. Though vintage KC Daylighters are going for dumb money now too. New halogen versions are reasonable compared to Rigid or BD.
I say that knowing I’m not going for perfect optics or running Baja at 80mph in the dark. I just want some added light when off road and it happens to be in the dark. I won’t be using them on pavement. I rarely wheel at night anyway so a huge investment in lighting is silly.
The gravity pro6 is like $1888@ZooMad75, what is stupid money, I have a box of vintage kc Daylighters, with pink covers lol.
I’ve seen some on eBay and Craigslist like yours asking more for them than a new pair of halogen Daylighters. Don’t know if anybody actually paid for them but that’s the asking price.@ZooMad75, what is stupid money, I have a box of vintage kc Daylighters, with pink covers lol.
Is it illegal to drive public roads with no covers? Now I just need to find some covers that fit these lights.
