After taking that beating down that rocky trail of a road. A few things became apparent.
1. These seats are not going to work.
I want to keep the original seat brackets so the passenger side folds forward. I really don’t want to lose that function. I could barely stay in the driver seat for a lot of that trail. Kept slipping about and the back of the driver seat must be busted as it keep leaning further and further back

Ended up using two jackets behind my back to sit far enough forward to actually drive.
2. I need to get the exhaust routed out the back of the truck or at the minimum turned down towards the ground. I had the rear window down because I was worried it would break having it up and I got fumed out pretty good. Massive headache last night from it.
3. A noise appeared and it sounds like brakes to me. So I’ll have to track that down. Definitely coming from the rear passenger side.
On the highway it was smooth as butter and I am happy to be behind the wheel of a K5 again.
Some of my plans have changed as far as paint. I’ve decided to definitely paint it back to the original factory color. This will save me tons of prep and work as the firewall and door jambs/interior are already the correct color.
