Back In the Saddle Again

I run the EV BBWM. The clutch lever does hang down a bit, but i have yet to smack it on something.Let me know if you want more pics.View attachment 462420View attachment 462418
you got any pics of the install with the bumper off? I want to be able to tuck it as close to the body as possible and build my front bumper off of it to match the rear.

No I don't, I installed it with the bumper on because apparently I like to do things the hard way. There may be some pics over on Ben's website though.

Im going back and fourth between CMFi and Engineered Vintage. What I don’t like about CFMI is aesthetically the distance from where it sits on the frame rail to the lower sill below the grill is too far for my liking. This isn’t a knock on its ability to perform. But I want there to be almost no gap there. I havnt found a pic of the bare Engineered Vintage one yet, but it looks like that one doesn’t have a “faceplate” like CFMI. I’m thinking I will have to build what I want or modify the CFMI to do what I want it to do. Or…. I need to extend that lower grill sill by about 1.5”. Lots of pondering left to do.

It looks like engineered vintage tucks the winch the most. It also gives me the freedom to build the bumper completely. So I’m thinking that’s the way I’m going to go. Now I just need the $ haha

That blue reminds me of one of my Old Chevy Luv trucks. I had one a 74' that color blue.

Got the engineered vintage winch kit coming. Now in waiting for that, I want to design a custom grill.

I have always loved the old P-series hood emblems. Basically the same emblem that I have on the front only a bit smaller and more emblem like. I think I want to base the design around that. I’m going to draw some stuff up and see how it comes out.

I want to incorporate the P-Series emblem but also some other nods to nostalgic Chevy’s.

The axle swap is on hold because the truck won’t be moveable for a few weeks once the new axle is in. And I need to be able to bring it back n forth to work for now.

$150 on Amazon for a twain gate. Thought I’d give it a try worst case it becomes a bench. It kinda fits. Gotta spend some time and see if I can adjust it a little better. My other tailgate hat has a bow in it but fits better. IMG_6833.jpegIMG_6834.jpegIMG_6835.jpeg

Got it close but still going to need some tweaking. I’m even thinking about shaving the handle and making it swing out instead of foldIMG_6838.jpegIMG_6837.jpeg down.

I’m pretty sure it swaps right over.
I swear that’s what I read
