Bad steering problems

After putting on my 6" lift, i had a 3" before, my steering has gotten real bad. My steering wheel doesnt stay centered, sometimes i have to hold it to the left to go straight and atfer turning alot, i will have to hold it in the other direction. Possibly the caster is just way out of whack. Caster is what gives the return-to-center feel. Did you put new shims on with the lift kit?

Did you change the steering arm on the steering box?
