I acquired this turbo and manifold 17 years ago when a shop went broke and moved--I got to clean up after them and any treasure was mine. Well, it was well worth the trouble.
Anyways, this turbo was in the mess. The turbo is tight, and attached to the manifold, no wastegate or anything else.
Did BAE turbo systems ever make a turbo for the 6.2?
I cant find any info on the web, and the guy behind BAE(Bob) died in '83.
I'll post pics later.
Any help would be appreciated.

i believe the 6.2 was introduced in 82, so if he died in 83, they may not have had time to make a turbo setup for the 6.2.

As Jeff said it can't be for a 6.2 but remember most turbos have the same mounting and if you can fab an intake for it, all you need is a exhaust manifold.
You probably need to see what size the turbo is on both sides but there is a chance it's a size that'll work. :D

It is on what would be the passenger side exhaust manifold--it matches up with a 6.2 manifold I have spare.
I'll try to get pics up tonight.

Thanks, Jimbo

A/R .96. It's a "Roto Master" turbo, never heard of them before.

Thanks, Jimbo

I actually have an early Banks turbo or at least so I was told and it's a rotomaster, if you search here you will find a post me asking about Rotomaster turbo :D
IIRC mine was A/R 65 on intake A/R 100 on exhaust, if you find the post it'll have the numbers.
;)
