Ball joint adj nut tool?

OK, I haven't even seen an adj nut yet(parts ordered). Do i need a tool to do this properly. I plan to start taring into this weekend.

If so what is it called? Do you have a tool part number from snap-on or Craftsman?

Yes, you need the tool. Its easy enough to make one with an old deep well socket and a grinder.

I made one up out of a socket years ago and it hasbeen fine. But if you don't want to do that, they are available at most auto parts stores.
