I got an 85 K5 with a 10 bolt front axle that I am running 35x14.5 hawgs on. Does anybody know if there are any ball joints that are better than Moog? I am looking for some sort of "Heavy Duty" joint if there is one at all???

I went with spicers when I did mine. What could be better then genuine GM?

Can't really go wrong with Moog or Spicer. For something that's that involved to replace, I buy the better parts (i.e. not Autozone or Advance brand). I have installed off brand (non Moog) parts in other peoples vehicles without any complaints though, just none in my fleet of vehicles.

Gynergy, did you use the Spicer Professional grade. If you did, were the grease ports accessable like the Moogs?

Thanks, Kenny

The spicers I used didn't have any grease fittings on them. I didn't know they made a professional grade, I would of bought them.

autozones aint that bad, replacing them once a year aint so bad. gives you something to do

I used Spicers..

The zerk fittings on the upper one can be tricky to reach with the axle shaft in there but it is do-able with the right grease gun.
