How are we going to do this deposit thing?

I only plan on staying Fri-Sun night though.......
 
yea, we (meaning umm, miniwally :D ) should probably ensure have some latitude for varying schedules. I'll probably arrive Friday and leave Monday.
 
Oh, yea, right. not skiing. driving. rats. OK. I'll trade bubbly for cognac. No. Sipping rum. Hmm. No, that's not right. BEER! Yea! That's it! Beer. A nice, micro-brewed lager. Or an ale. Maybe something Belgian. :haha: :haha: :haha: J/K! Still a decent bed and AC is good. And a shower every day without walking outside to find it. That's good too.

So, when do the Friday runs start? Somehow I thought that it was meet and greet Friday night and wheeling started Saturday. I can show up Thursday night or Friday mid afternoon. If there's fun to be had on Friday, then maybe I will come up Thursday.
 
Thanks! It's coming back to me now... I think Rene told me he went one year and wheeled on Friday, got stuck with a messed up something, missed the BBQ and meet 'n greet. Straggled in at O-dark-thirty with a busted driveshaft or axle or something.

I want to wheel on the weenie trails. :D :D :D Or ride with Branndon! :haha:
 
The buggy really makes things easy. I can't drive for sh!t.

I count 8 rooms so far. I think we could move forward with this in hte next day or two. I will post up about the deposit and let everyone know waht is going on.

I don't mind making reservations for extra days but I will arrive Thurs. sometime and leave Sunday night. I might try do get down early enough on Thurs. to do a little light wheeling like a quick jaunt through Upper Heldorado just to warm up. HeHeHe the buggy lets me do these kind of things.

Wheeling Friday will be somewhat of a decide on the fly sort of thing. 9:00 at the city market is standard.

The dates are open for me. I was keeping the week before and after open, because we hadn't decided when we were going and coming back. We are going to stay longer that the Blazer Bash runs. I would assume that if we get rooms outside of the block (9/30-10/04) they would be the regular rate.
 
Branden, i spoke with Willie at moab valley inn just now and have 15 rooms posativly reserved. we can add rooms as we go depending on aval. all the rooms reserved are with 2 beds the total cost on the rooms with tax is going to be $69.59 hope that is ok for everybody. we need to get her the deposit asap witch can be done on a credit card or whatever. i have it set up were after all is said and done the deposit will be aplied back to what ever card is used or refunded back to hwo ever pays it that way we are not tring to split it up and recoop it hope that is ok. we also need to start geting her some what of a guest list so she can start appling names to rooms so post up everybody or pm me or branden with names and info. alos Branden Leslie wants to know what day your drivers seat is going to be empty she is spoiled for ever cant even get her to ride in the truck anymore. thanks a lot.

I think that the deposit is taken care of. Don't hold me to that quite yet but I belive that between a few nice members it is OK.
 
I'd be happy to contribute if it is needed, or you guys want to spread the risk a bit.

Otherwise, can we call the motel and make reservations ourselves under a group name?

It looks like we have 6 or 7 rooms remaining and they are trying their best to get them all close together. They will hold out more rooms as long as possible.

Please get in touch with anyone that you think might want to come and see if they need a room. Everybody that wants a room needs to PM me and give me their name, and dates they are staying. I will call in the first time to give a list of names at the end of next week.

Moab is usually real busy at this time of year and a bunch of the hotels are booked. So those that are still thinking better get off their a$$es and dicide what they are doing.

Last thing is I get busy with work and personal crap sometimes so my time frames to get things taken care of don't always work out. If things don't happen right when I say or you think they should don't get to worried I do get them done and taken care of. The reservation is made, deposit done so all they need is the names part.
 
I booked my room. For some reason my name wasn't on the list, but turned out not to be a problem. They need a credit card to hold the reservation - at least they did with me. Probably would be a good idea to give them a call and make sure all is set.
 
I have not been able to get in touch with them to give the list. Every time I get the chance to call something at work takes a crap and I have to deal with some sort of emergency materials buy. One of these days we will run our jobs instead of our jobs running us.

I think I can call later today.
 
Ditto on the reservations. I'll need a room checking in on Friday and leaving on Monday. Is this still a go?
