BB 2008 picture & video thread

Short clip from Gold Bar Rim. This is the first major obstacle on the trail at what Dad and I have started to call "Jason's Corner" because this is where his plaque was placed.

Maybe Pritchett was the safe way to go...:doah:

And in less spiritual terms, I've heard that that ledge on Gold Bar Rim is called "ButtScratcher Ledge" :eek1:. But I can't help thinking that Jason is o.k with that...:D

Here are some pics from the Saturday run on Flat Iron Mesa:

Here I am driving the old man's truck on the "Red Brick Road":

A look back at the group winding our way down the trail:

It's hard to tell from the pics, but you have to get very close to the edge of the shelf road to make a left turn around a rock outcropping. There's just a foot or two to spare. An aptly named obstacle IMO.

I can see why, I think most everyone did scratch their "butts" on the way down. You certainly see the streaks! :haha:

Okay I think we carried the analogy far enough. :D

In BB05 I attempted Gold Bar Rim and wrecked the R&P in my rear axle on the first optional obstacle we tried. You could barely say we even started the trail. So this year since Dad is running my old tires I had at BB05, I had him prove that a front locker makes all the difference.

some are 4xcrazy taken some are pauly and heatstroke lady ( wifey383 ) taken .

Oh yea , Pauly has and IFS Suburban which can pull pretty good with the Vortec and K+N :pimp:

Lets see if this works:

The first obstacle on Flat Iron Mesa. I was the only one without lockers so this was pretty tough.
