Thanks for the info guys...
...basically is the park a big loop)?...
To add to that, most all the trails we run are on BLM land. It's not a park - although this is a common misperception, and our photos might make it seem that way, too. Most of the 'classical' Jeep Safari trails are the descendants of old mining/prospecting roads scattered throughout the mountains and canyons around Moab.
In addition to the EJS trails, there is a private park, founded a few years ago. It's called Area BFE.
There are tons of people and trucks that show up, we run a few trails each day.
For instance I led Hell's Revenge on Friday and IIRC there were 16 or 18 trucks. Trust me, that's plenty of vehicles on a trail. I believe there were a similar number of vehicles running Metal Masher that day.
We do run trails together, but not everyone runs the same trail on the same day. There are also different difficulty ratings for the trails, there are probably 3-5 trail runs each day that run the whole gambit from easy-hard.
Thanx for taking todd up the Escalator He loved the Piss out of that. It was good seeing you again. Hope to see ya'll again real soon

You certainly don't need 1ton axles to run 90% of the trails out there. Pauly can attest, he's done many years in Moab on 1/2 ton gear. I did this years with Dad's 1/2 blazer. Probably a majority of the guys are running 3/4ton type setups.
You have to keep in mind that the trail that gets most of the attention - at least in this thread - is Pritchett Canyon and aside from the trails on the private property in Area BFE, it is considered by most to be the hardest trail in the Moab area. But Pritchett is just 1 of the 9 trails we offered this year.
When you all go out there, do you guys stay at a campground out there or stay at hotels, etc in a nearby town?
The Town of Moab is actually quite large. There are several campgrounds intown and many hotels. Slickrock campground has been the base of operations for the last few years as most guys stay at the campground.
Remember Moab is a town that just sits in the middle of Hundreds of Miles of non paved roads. Some of these roads are graded and some are a 1/4 mile of rocks that make a man feel small.
Looks and sounds like a good time and it is only like 10 hours away from here.... Definitely has me thinking. The pics and vids have been awesomeI noticed this year that the Carquest in town was open when we were getting breakfast at 7:30AM.Glad to hear the town is a fair size. I'd need the auto parts stores for sure even if I brought extra parts should I venture there next yearLooks and sounds like a good time and it is only like 10 hours away from here.... And I am uploading a Youtube video taken from inside MtnMan's cab as he was KEEPING up with Ktmoutfront...Fixed it for you
I finally got to look through this stuff. Great pictures. We had a blast and the people are great as always. Just a note on the 6 minute run down from Metal Masher (we thought it was 8 minutes). I had to slow in the corners to make sure we were not going to head butt someone coming the other way. And I did not spill my drink.

It wouldn't be like there would be a shortage of K5 experts around to tell me how to fix stuff and roost me while I was broke down

There are several GOOD reasons I was able to keep up with you, the road wasn't REALLY rough(if it was you would have run off and left me), you were driving smart (smarter than me), and my 383 makin' big powerChasing you was one of the most wicked fun things I have ever done!

Looking in the rear view and seeing a beast chasing me was intimidating. 6 minutes off of the hill has to be record of some kind.
