BB 2010 Dates?

Yup that was 2006, my second time a Moab!
AWESOME!
I was very surprised how well the tires stuck to the wet rock, not "slickrock" at all...more like sandpaper rock :haha:

Our first trit to Moab was BB '04 , and at least 8 of us had our asses
handed to us at the rock pile. We patched the rigs back together, turned around and headed back down Pritchert in the dark. GOOOOD trip great people lot's of fun.
P.S. I'd never seen a Dana 60 axle tube rotate before....Leave it to Stephen.:D:p: His dad twisted it back then welded it up .

We had run Cliffhanger that day, and in the end hung out at the Pritchett parking lot for a bit. Some hikers came out, and said there were some broken vehicles, and that a green truck was being worked on...
Stephen told me he thought that by the end of the day, he was the "least broken..." :D

Michael, I know you already think I'm crazy :screwy: but, I love days like that!

It was probably Willyswanter's big green Truggy being worked on; he was always trying something beyond the trucks abilities. Several Moab videos can be found at www.JasonPayneMemorial.com and click on the YouTube link. My favorite is http://www.youtube.com/JasonPayneMemorial#p/u/11/rBSPnfwARPU. When Jason came home from 2006 BB all he talked about was the rain and how beautiful everything was; he had some great memories of the years at BB and all the friends he made.

Yes, days like that make memories :D. And when it's all said and done, memories and friendships are really what we take home with us. But I just as much survive a trail day without (me...:D) breaking anything... ;)

It's funny, in all these times in Moab, I've always stayed at some motel, and they all have pool and hot tub. I've yet to make it to the hot tub after a run...

Nope, it was Wally on that day when they "untwisted" the front axle tube...:D

OK. I give up. No more voice of reason . Days of Thunder it shall be.

God have mercy with us all :D.

It was actually Stephens blazer with the spun tube. It required the use of Jason and his 8,000# of truck to help rotate the tube and get it all welded back in place.

I don't think I ever saw Jason really work at anything in that truck. It either goes or doesn't and it is clear which one it's going to be right away.

How's the back?

How's the back?

Slowly getting better :eek1:; while in the hospital on pain killers I asked the team of doctors if I would be able to go rock crawling again :haha:. They all looked at each other and asked what was rock crawling and after I explained they started laughing and said I sould be able once 3 bones are healed :D. Right now I'm not supposed to drive until after April 1 and no crawling until August 1; therefore, Basher Bash is on for me! :saweet:

Great, I'm glad you can make it. Will be nice to meet everyone.

I'll be there again. I don't think I've miss one of them since they started.
My Blazers sitting in Moab waiting for me :( :D.
Hopefully it still has everything on it!
I wanted to go out for EJS but at $170 a night, I decided to pass and go fishing in
Fl. for a little more then that $170. I'm hoping to get out there early to work on the truck a little.
I might work out a two week stay if I can.
I have a digital video camera this year so I'm hoping to put something together.
We haven't had a video since "02" I believe.
I'm going to talk to Barbie at Archway Inn to see if I can get us a deal.

I need a link to the little cabins out there, I wanna stay out in those.
Keith, didn't you say you stayed in those last year.

Nope Archway Inn is where I stay, big parking lot, pool, hot tub, free breakfast and AC what more could I want.

I took Keith blazers advice and just got the last 2 queen bed room at the Archway Inn.

a little more than I wanted to spend, but, it will be nice to get a shower and some good sleep after all the Brew-ha-ha.
