BB 2015 Pictures

yup, Steven helped get my truck off a trail my first year, then I had to buy a $500 driveshaft from Moab 4x4 outpost to drive home, then first year I took my buggy out, it broke on Pritchett, and James went with me and pulled me out at 1:00 am.

I'm Pretty sure there were other people involved

Put about 1000 miles on the truck over the long weekend. Ran Metal Masher on Friday. After helping Bob as far as we could I booked it out so I could help Nicole at the ORD BBQ.

We ran the Crack n Back Saturday with 4 other trucks. That ended up being a long day but everyone made it off the trail. A couple of guys did an awesome trail repair.

Sunday was Steel Bender. Ran that with 6 other trucks. Everyone on that run was a Moab veteran so we just plugged right along all day and everyone finished without a hitch.

My intent wasn't to shame you; I just figured people needed to know who they were looking for to offer help to.

Nothing to be ashamed of, we've all had our crap break on the trail. My first Blazer Bash I blew up my 12 bolt ring and pinion 100ft into Gold Bar Rim. That same year Brandon had to do late night trail repairs on his buggy after he broke a knuckle and aluminum beadlock wheel. There are so many similar stories over the past 10 years I've been involved we could probably write a pretty humorous book about it all.

BB 2009 cost me just shy of 40k after it was all said and done. At the BBQ I got a standing ovation and a painted water bottle. I was also held against my will in Brandon's buggy for several hours listening to him talk about Jack

So we're talking about breakage on our first trip to Blazer Bash?

That was on Pritchett Canyon at the top of axle hill.

Here's James Watson welding it back together with Wally's onboard welder.

That only lasted to about 1/4 mile past Yellow Hill. The drive out from there was interesting to say the least...

I think it should be called grip rock.

It's called slick rock because the first people there were on horseback and it was slippery for the horses with horse shoes on...

By far, the most memorable BB for me!

I know I did not have breakage like EPK5, but I had some front spring bushing problem on Sunday's Hells revenge run and Chris from ORD was quick to locate me some bushings and a shop to use to replace them. Because I had a 1200 mile return journey in the blazer.
So many thanks to ORD!!
Many thanks to MRK5 !!

I put all the pics I have in my build thread, but I will post them all here too
