We're almost done with our list. The only major thing left on it is going over my chassis for cracks and fixing any issues.

The last minute shakedown run went well, the S-10 handles like a different truck on the rocks!
One thing I wasn't expecting is that I took so much weight off the rear axle that my rear springs/shocks are way too stiff. It's going to be a bumpy trip to Moab.

sorry, I meant in moab... I drove it there once, that's enough.

I may do it again sometime, but it would be another overland trip that ends in Moab if I do.

Finally fired the Jimmy up yesterday. Oday, pint of transmation fluid, pint of engine oil, pint of transfer case fluid.
Welded 3 breaks in the engine cage.
2 new mirrors. Went through bags.
Found the temp gauge not working.

We leave tomorrow noonish, the fridge in the RV isn't working properly which is an adventure on it's own... Whatever, we'll be in Monument Valley tomorrow night and Moab Saturday morning, we'll figure everything else out after that.
Getting there is all that counts.
