Thanks again for the spot. Oh and thanks for not telling me about the guy taking the swan dive into the hole until AFTER we got down. That was info I didn't need to know up at the top.
Now that I've done it I could do it again without the freak out factor, but man it's sketchy not seeing in front of the truck.
There's quite a few spots like that in Moab, just keep your truck between the lines.

Most of my trip over Fins n Things was watching the roof of the guy in front of me and deciding I didn't need a spot over that part.
The amount of swag this year was amazing! All of our usual sponsors came through again, and we picked up a few new ones too! The raffle was awesome.
His house was a mess though.......

The spotter didn't know he was deaf and when he went off line no matter how loud the spotter yelled he didn't listen.
I've wheeled with Brian a few times (He's local here in AZ). He's deaf, but wheels like he's blind...

You can see in this picture that there is a drop if you don't stay between the lines that are painted on the rock:
Once you nose over it's pretty obvious that you need to stay left of that drop, but he didn't/couldn't see it.

OK, just reread what you said, nevermind...
Apparently he turned drivers AFTER dropping off the ledge, that was bad. As I mentioned, I wasn't there. If he would have corrected before dropping off the ledge he would have been fine.
