BB 2023 picture thread.

That was an interesting line I wanted to try. I felt like I almost had it the first try at it, but too undercut on the driver rear for a triple tire climb. Had to end up going the normal way up.
Fins and things was a blast today. The rental did great. Took the hard lines and it just climbs when locked up, even at street pressure.
We came up to the first optional hard line with a family attempting it with little 80’s 4Runner. He was struggling and backed off. I rolled up and hit it in one shot. Saw 30 degrees on the inclinometer going up.
After our group getting thru, Phillip from ORD spotted the guy in the yota over it. The yota guy hung with us to the end. His rig still had ifs and with a bent idler arm the toe was changing like mad as the suspension cycled.
I’ve got way more pics my son shot to share once he sends them to me.
Carnage was minimal. I scraped the front lower bumper on a steep decline that also caused me to drag the rear tow hook on the ledge.
Somewhere I smashed the tailpipe too.
I didn’t worry about the hook but I did do some body work with a pair of pliers. The after:
I got back home and turned the jeep back in. Thankfully it was dark and the guy checking it in didn’t look at much. The 8 whammys in the belly skid plate probably won’t get seen until the new gets it’s oil changed.
Ed the duck had a great ride back.

Seems like I hit precipitation of some kind driving back from Blazer Bash every time.
Once we popped through the tunnel, rain.
Every year, except 2. When it was snowing.
I always felt like after the heat in Moab the rain in the mountains on the drive home was a signal for the end of summer.
Definitely was a shock going to 90’s with the ac blowing on high to 55 degrees and rain running the heater.
I was on my motorcycle going over the Rockies once. Sunny and warm on the west side. Cold and snow coming out of the tunnels. That was exciting. What was funny, was riding into the rest stop, and riding back out when all of the other motorcycles were still sitting there.
A slight sprinkle west side of Vail, pretty good amount right before Silverthorn and then another 10 min drizzle around Georgetown.
Pulled into town @3:20, sunny and a balmy 56 degrees.

Made it to St George, no rain. Horrible gas mileage, I70 in UT always make reconsider my power plant choices
Cough….big block…..cough. At least then you may have the same mileage numbers but you’ll be going fast enough to not worry about it. No slowing down to 30 going up grades.
Does that Ramcharger belong to someone here?
@Babaganoosh his buddy in CA that did the welding on his frame. Not sure if he is forum member. I hope he enjoyed the trip, was doing a lot wrenching
