BB13 registration now open!

A lot of the people that used to stay at Slickrock are moving over to Moab Rim. You should join us over there Russell.

Personally I would stay at a campground like Moab Rim RV Campark and go hangout at Slickrock. Only downside is you have to be able to drive back to your campground. Another decent, but lesser known campground is Pack Creek Campground. It's off the beaten path behind a trailer park, but still pretty nice. Those are the only 2 I have experience with.

I stayed at Slickrock last year, honestly for RVing it, it is nicer than the others because it has big mature trees and a lot of shade.
If you don't have your own bathroom and bedroom, I wouldn't recommend Slickrock though. The current owner does not take care of the facilities.

Every year I've stayed at Slickrock and every year fewer people stay there, this year I bailed out and reserved a cabin at Moab Rim.

The only other thing that Slickrock has going for it is that they let you work on your rig. I figure if I need to do that, I'll rent a spot for a day and go over there to work on it :haha:.

We could have an office BB13 truck repair site at Slickrock. I wonder if they would ever catch on.... :rotfl:

That would be awesome! Have someone park a trailer full of tools there, come check out the key and go fix your truck!

Yeah, now that would be cool.

We've got 10 people registered so far plus a few just ordering shirts. One is coming all the way from Virginia, but his truck is in CO so it's not quite a long distance award. Looks like Alberta, Canada is the winner at this point. :D

Decided to give Moab Rim a try this year - got reservations for a cabin. Guess I had better get my registration in.
I told Nicole she'd better get our reservations in. So hopefully we'll be neighbors with all of you Moab Rim peeps.

Stupid conflicts. That is all.
I don't understand. There is no conflict for Blazer Bash. Now there may be other things that have to be set aside for Blazer Bash, but I'm afraid it does not work the other way around.

Eileen needs to be in DC the Monday after. So needs to fly Sunday. Nothing easy from Moab.

And we live on her income. So it is priority.

So are you going to be around Thursday and Friday?

I hope so. But not enough to make deffinate plans yet.eileen is trying to get 85 people to push their trip back. We will see.

Man, I thought we'd get to be neighbors finally this year and the Rim is all booked! Now we're looking to see what else we can find. I might have to commandeer someone's cabin... forced eviction...

Plans were just set. I will be there, Eileen won't though. Going to make calls tomorrow for a cabin, something. Let me know where you end up Scott.
