I don't know, I was kinda thinking about metal masher because the more difficult stuff is optional. Then the more adventurous in the group could try the hard lines and the newbs can watch the fun.

Scott how is the Camp grounds doing for space? We need to keep in touch with her too.

I haven't been in touch. I didn't figure it was an issue until closer to May. I also think it works out well when people post up that they've made reservations and often give a report on how many are left.

Please everyone, if you all can report back when you make reservations and let everyone else know what the rental situation is for the campground you reserve in that would be helpful for us all.

Well, my brother did not make the Top 10 of TTC2015, so he is pretty serious about driving down from WA to attened Blazer Bash this year. We both have been to Moab many times before but it has been 5+ years for both of us, and we have never attended an event like Blazer Bash in Moab before. Both our rigs are built to handle pretty much anything we can throw at it (His rig is an 88 Jimmy that is has 52's front, 63's rear, rockwells locked f/r, 44" boggers, and completely tubed. Mine has all my specs in my sig, and there is a small chance I could be on 42's before the event, but that might wait until next year), so not too worried about that just wondering how the overall event goes.

I see that there are designated trail runs, but is this pretty much the only trails people run while the official event is going on? Or do people sometimes go run other trails that might be harder that are not officially on the schedule? It seems like a heck of a lot of fun and now that TTC is out of the picture for this year at least, we are getting pretty serious about making sure we can go to BB this year. Anyones thoughts on this would help (and I am posting this for my brother too as he was inquiring the most about the above questions :D).

You are okay to run other stuff. Some make a week of it and come out for the full week and run several trails before the event. Aside from that there aren't a lot of people that do their own thing during the event but it's not unheard of either.

You guys would have fun playing around AreaBFE on Friday. Lots of challenging stuff there. Also the Rusty Crack on Saturday would be one of the most challenging trails you can do in Moab outside of the BFE area.

Yeah we've talked and have determined that we are going to run the thursday night run (wherever that is), areabfe on friday, rusty crack on sat, and whichever run on sunday (if the night run is hells revenge, then we will do the other.

We are going to make a week of it. I will get there on tuesday, and run a trail on wed/thurs. One will at least be pritchett canyon. The other is up in the air (something difficult). Anyone who will be there early and wants to run with us you are definitely welcome. So that will put us at 6 trails in 5 days. Man am I looking forward to this.

Now I just need to figure out how to register for all the above.

I'm leaning towards Hell's Revenge for the night run but I want to make the final decision at the trail meeting spot. That way we have an idea what kind of rigs are coming and can pick a trail that everyone can do.

Scott could give us more info, but I am pretty sure this is where we go to register for the event and all that jazz

That sounds like a good plan. I am pretty excited about BB. I have wanted to go for a while and pending any unforseen circumstances (my wife is due with our 3rd child a month after BB), it looks like we will actually go this year :D

I talked with him last night and I think we are pretty set on Pritchett for Thursday. Would be cool to have you run it with us. I think we are planning to show up on Tuesday late afternoon/early evening and set things up, then hit Area BFE most of all Wednesday, then Pritchett Thursday, then whatever event runs we register for the rest of the days.

we are still deciding on what trails we are doing also ,since body damage isnt an issue here no straight panels left on it:eek1::sign12:,
we are looking to come in on tuesday as well i would like to catch the moab rim if anyones up for that

I don't know why I keep reading the BB threads. It just depresses me. It appears that you always have them in mid-September and I've been going to Canada to fish at that time for over 20 years in a row now and I can't mess up our group. There's eight of us that go each year.

Have you ever done them in August or October? If you did I'd be there.

We used to do early October but we had some trouble with rain because that is one of the rainiest months in Moab. Haven't tried August.

We tried later in September but it didn't work as well. The weekend following Labor Day has been working the best. That's gauged by the number of attendees.

Understandable. We always go the Wednesday after Labor day through the next week. Guess I'm out permanently.
