BB17 Carnage thread

Left front tire on the semi is holding air at 110 psi for 4 hours.

I'm thinking a scoundrel was busy last night. Initials BW.

Too bad it cost me a $250 Sunday service call to have it checked.
Not trying to be a d*ck, but can I ask why you didn't air it up with the truck air and check yourself ?

I say this assuming that it didn't break the bead. I have experienced flat tires that didn't break the bead unless moved.

I didn't and wouldn't do that to the Semi, tow rigs are kind of off limits, I would however let the air out of all 4 of the Blazer tires at once.

Honestly nothing to do with me but if the tire is holding at 110psi for 4 hours you have to assume someone was trying to be funny.

I'm glad it wasn't you. I thought you had more respect for me than that. Not much though.:D

I also did not call anyone. I just wanted whomever did it to feel bad that they cost me money. I hope it was some tree hugging nut job. Because it was definitely deflated on purpose.

messing with tow rigs is bad juju. Glad it didn't cost you anything and hopefully whoever messed with it got the scare you intended and learned a lesson. :P

As far as carnage goes, I had a few gremlins that may or may not bite me later. On Hells Revenge I had an issue with the starter. We used a pry bar to jumper the starter and it fired right up and it started normally every time after that, so who knows. Also had an issue with my fuel pump getting hot. It stopped working at the end of the day Friday, but after letting it sit for 20 min or so it started working just fine and never had an issue the rest of the weekend.

My transmission isn't shifting as smoothly as it did before either. I tried to go up too steep a climb in high range and I think I burned it a bit. It never let go, but I think I may have dramatically shortened it's life.

My right front tire. @500$k5 said the tread was almost wrapped to the wheel before he could tell me anything. It blew after I got backed out a bit.
My wife gave me crap cuz I had come back around to find a harder line....
I deserved it.
But I am going to say that my co-conspiritor @ktmoutfront led me to it!!!
Gotta blame the spotter, right???
Just kidding Wade!

But I had plenty of help from friends to change it!

Guess the spare made it home

Yes it did!!!
And anyone that doesn't believe in the BBs for balancing, check out this tire. I got comfortable with it and was running 60-65MPH at times. Granted, we ran HWY 128 to I-70 to keep the speed down longer...
At least I am assuming that this one had BBs as well, since it ran so good.
