That’s a legit observationMight have to change the title to the thread, maybe "How much stuff can reddog break"?
the bottom one is only for short people, you should be good...I broke the bottom rung off of the ladder on the semi. Probably should have put the ladder up before going down the road.

Must be getting good on the time to R&R on the second pump.New pump is in, thoroughly tested by turning the steering wheel lock to lock while parked.
I'm tired and drunk, I sleep now.
should just have them order 3 or 4 extra now, so they don't run out, lolNew pump is in, thoroughly tested by turning the steering wheel lock to lock while parked.

Hydraulic lock up break it? Something in the valve?

So do we each need to bring a pump to the party so Reddog can make it through the week?
After a 2nd pump I'd be looking into the idea that the pump may not be the problem. Could there be a big enough blockage or restriction in the system that could physically lock up the pump?
Oh, I totally get that. 20 minutes worth of checking out his builds kinda prove it. Still, having a pair of pumps grenade lends more to something causing it than the idea that he had two bad pumps. I don't know if the spool valve is getting stuck causing the pump to deadhead on pressure and fail spectacularly. Whatever the cause the pump failure is just a symptom.Brent is a different type of person, he has more trail miles then a DD in rush hour traffic.
Two completely different failures, this one was just a crap rebuild where the pump shaft sheered when I put a load on it.
The first one fails on the red limiter, I'm thinking maybe I hit the end of travel on my team and the relief valve couldn't floor enough fluid so the pressure spiked and blew out the back of the pump.
Same thing happened to Chris H and PSC said that is to be expected.
