Beadlock Wheels

There’s a few trucks that run the Coyote beadlocks in KOH. That was what sold me.
Someone else made some a long time ago, and I had a set, then Someone borrowed them and disappeared.
Also I believe @Greg72 Had them.
I might consider them in my white Phoenix build

Yeah the one Matt posted is also made in the USA, a little cheaper and it's in southern California so I can pick up when I am visiting my daughter in college

I'm very familiar with Hutchison and H1 wheels (which are made by Hutchison), I was referring to the fact the wording in your post doesn't make sense (it seemed jumbled). As far as buying H1's, used wheels are plentiful on the internet, FB Marketplace, military surplus, etc.
So what if you are on the trail out in middle of know where. You need the hummer beadlock be hard get. Because you have wait until they can ship them to you. That what I mean. Sorry about being jumble. I have dyslexia and add

Having dyslexia explains things a little.
I don't know how old you are but new information shows that dyslexia is a vision problem and can be improved and possibly fixed by an eye doctor, only not all doctors know that yet.
Mine does and he's working on my little boy

A modern TrailReady HD17 is a super tough wheel, I wouldn't worry about durability at all. They're one example of a bunch of HD fancy cast wheels from a handful of companies. The stuff we've smoked on the TR wheels and other brands in race cars makes me say you basically aren't going to hurt one of them recreational wheeling. In fact, I'd say that if a steel wheel had any sort of durability advantage, you'd see them on race trucks instead of similar weight (or maybe heavier) aluminum wheels.

Maybe that'll let you broaden your search since steelies aren't as common anymore.
Thanks for your input, it’s nice having you on here more lately.

Ok I’ve decided to give aluminum beadlocks a try. @Raggedy_Ann has done a bunch of research for me, we work together and he’s in front of a computer most of the day. I really want Trail Ready’s with the rock ring but I can get Vision’s for a really good price. @Raggedy_Ann talked to someone the other day that we both respect in the crawling world that runs them and he really likes them. I can get Visions for half the price of Trail Ready’s.
Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the rock rings? I really like the looks of them but not sure it’s worth spending twice the money.

I personally don't see the need for them but I know you guys do more hard-core rock crawling and you might benefit from the protection of the rim edge

My sh!tbox is for trails only, pretty much the only time it’s on the street is in Moab or Sand Hollow or if we have to drive a little after taking it off the trailer.

I remember a lot of reports of leaking Stauns. As in, airing down the tire would slowly also air down the beadlock. Maybe these newer ones don't have that problem?

How are the air locks on the street/highway? It seems like they are lower mass than a lot of other solutions and should balance out.

I wasn't gonna say it, so I'm glad @Stephen did. There is no reason to run steelies. I've been happy with my trailready's but there are lots of decent wheels out there. If you get the TR posted above add some drain holes to the rings.
