Alright when I get what I want to do layed out I'll shoot you what I am thinking. I'd like to have something nice for a dash, and you have mad skills when it comes to making the metal do what you want!

Cool.

Some day ill actually have 2 seconds of free time and ill make some door panels and a console for mine.

But ill probably just blow it off and go to the dunes instead :D #cuzzipties

No. I bought the corner things.

Some stuff is too time consuming when you can buy them for pocket change.

Where did you score the pneumatic rivet squeezer? Those things are expensive.

Wow Adam, that looks pretty realistic, you can tell what car it is, and it's metal, not ink, nice work!

It was given to me in trade to make the guy a sign with his machine shop logo on it. He said its been sitting in the bottom of his tool box for over a decade, and he said I would probably make some good use of it.

Mix an obsession with dunes, people with a lot of money, and fancy metal work, and I guess you get your name around lol.

Side note, the thing works great, but it weighs like 50 lbs, and it has a really shallow throat depth. Be good for external rivets, but I sent out to get a quote for one of these this morning. Mix this with a shrinker stretcher setup, and ill be able to knock out center consoles and other cool big stuff.

Can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees it. Thanks Adam!!

Im super excited for you guys to see it. It looks SOOO much better in person.

Thanks dude!

You need to by a house and get a shop built. I see a lot of work in your future.

But if you can stay there for free, never mind.

Its in the works.

I have been putting 20% of my paychecks from work into my savings. And adding more here or there.

I wish I had started doing that when I was younger, but oh well. I have about 8500 saved up this year, and am hoping after tax return time and some more side jobs, to have that close to doubled. That will get me a down payment and still have a cushion left.

For now, Brett and I are going to figure out a payment for electricity and gas to heat the place in the winter. I have one more of his big work vans to stock up coming up in the next few weeks. So that has always been one form of payment. But we both have a feeling I will be using much more of his gas/electricity in the future. Last year it was mostly me in a set of coveralls, using my manual bead roller. So it was pretty energy efficient lol.
