Beag's 67 Chevelle. Supercharged Summer

I hear your swapping out the 307 for a carbed 8.1.

No boat anchors in this velle.

However, with a little poking and prodding from a few text messages. I did run the numbers on my block and I found out it's a 1969, 4 bolt main, 350. Built on Nov, 1st in Flint, Michigan.

So much for the numbers matching thing that the PO had told me. But I honestly believe- that he believed it From the guy he bought it from.
The numbers matching thing doesn't bother me what so ever. But I will say I did like the idea it was a 327. Surprising it's a 350 and not a 327? Not in the slightest. I can only account for the cars history since around 99-2000ish.
There are just so many 350 powered cars out there. Having a 327 was kinda different (almost).

That all said, I do still believe the PO in the fact that he had the engine bored out. So I suppose it would be a 355.
Also I suppose there could be a small chance that it's the 350 block with a shorter stroke in it.
Who knows if that's the case or not. I have no plans in bothering to find out.

Oh come on just pull it out tear it down and blueprint the entire thing so you know. I actually have a buddy here that would do that exact thing. He loves to blueprint and build engines to exact specs and such.

Maybe someday.
Right now I need to finish it for powertour.
I have everything booked (hotels) to go if it happens (who knows with our current state of things) unfortunately, I am not doing the whole thing (drive) as I don't have enough vacation saved for a whole week.
Anyway powertour is roughly 6 weeks away. I have a mountain of work to finish to get it ready.

Haha! Way to go Rick!!
Brian’s afraid that rear ends got hardware!
Argh! Rick ruined it!

We haven't had dairy cows since 94! I still one or two of them kicking about!
Since they are super strong I was going to use that to pull the center pin.

Boy was THAT a pipe dream!

After 30 minutes of fighting with it I was ready to toss the stupid 10 bolt junk in the junk pile and call strange engineering! They are about 10 minutes from my work! Probably could have picked up an a-body dana 60 Tomorrow after work. Lol.

One of those magnets was my favorite toy when I was a kid lol. Had a lot of fun with it. Until I ruined a TV.... Then I never seen it again :doah:.

Just throw a new pin in it, and do burnouts till she goes.... Then you'll have a real good reason to upgrade.

My plan is actually what I just said. A strange 60. They make them with the cast ears for the upper link.
I might go 9". But most likely it will be 60. That's down the road and I'll make this pos 10 work for now.
Both are good

But I can verify that a Strange spool with 5.13s and 33 splines will absorb 906 HP without blinking in a 3400 pound car...
