Beag's 67 Chevelle. Supercharged Summer

Going to need new wheels.
I want something vintage with a slightly larger size like my 76.

I don't want a drag racing Vibe like the car has now, I want more of a road racing vibe.
My first choice and my only thoughts are the v48. Basically an old Trans Am series race car wheel.

It look really good on Mustangs and Camaros, never seen them on a Chevelle.
What does CK5 think?

Found a pic of them on a nova

Not that I don’t like that look. But they where never built for road track. What’s the problem with a classic look the still can turn a corner?
Your car and I will approve of your decision.
Just don’t make it gay!

I don’t know why he’s changing the wheels on it. It’s got the best lookin wheel out there on it already :D

Fine, that maybe so. But they are pretty rusty and have silver paint on them. So that even being the case I would like to get new replacements.

Well that would be my counter, you never really see them with road racing type of wheels because everyone had mustangs and camaros for that...

I don’t mind Cole Quinnel’s Chevelle.

Used to really like the pro touring look. But I must be getting old, I prefer the stock old school looks these days it seems.

I don't want a full out pro touring look. I am actually thinking about those wheels in 16 inch to keep a little sidewall around.

But yeah, if I didn't throw hubcaps in the junk pile they would be a dog dish. That's why they got the name right?

Snapped a couple close up on the way in the house.

Pretty rough. And they are 14s.
And missing a lugnut.:rotfl:

My 67 firebird had those wheels when I got it, 14" steel outer with aluminum Center.
They were in poor shape so I got these instead, 15" all aluminum
