Beag's 67 Chevelle. Supercharged Summer

Got a stack of papers from the engine rebuild. Haven't have alot of time yet to dig through the stuff. Was 2 1/2 hours down the road.
Previous owner is a friend of mine, owned the car for last 25 years, 327 was built 15 years ago.
Car is far from perfect. Solid driver condition. Does need some small stuff done that kept him from driving it alot the last few years and ultimately decided to get rid of it.
I didn't trade the Chrysler 300 straight up, I had to pay out a fair amount. But these damn thing aren't cheap.

Master cylinder is biggest issue, front tire leaks as fast as you can fill it. But the craigers are rusty and shot from sitting, the tires are date coded from the 90s, and there are rear suspension issues. And we couldn't get it to fire today, probably forking ethanol gas sediment in the carb cogging it some.

LoL!! He said he wouldn't have done it for anyone else!!! Only for me. But yes it's a huge deal for me. It's definitely feels like a bright spot for me today! I have been jumping out of my skin all day.

And today it is me and the wife's 6th anniversary today too!!

Buying a Chevelle on your anniversary. Either incredibly ballsy or your wife is into cars too. I'm guessing she's cool with it.

The body looks really solid though. 4 speed/12 bolt? Bonus!

All the problems you listed are easy to fix for sure. Probably 4 wheel drums. Don't waste any money on drum brake stuff. Disc conversions are pretty cheap and you'll end up with a new master cylinder anyway. Rear suspension probably has wasted bushings too. Another easy fix.

She's pretty down with it.
The only thing she said to me is "why do we need that right now when I'm 6 months pregnant?"

LoL yeppers.... that's right guys, another news bomb for you CK5ers, we are having our first child at Christmas.
But she knows I wanted this thing forever. So she didn't say much. The outlay of cash that she didn't realize I had may have been the bigger problem here.:doah:

It has drums all the way around, so I'll convert to disks without a doubt.
Rear suspension wise, the rear springs are basically shot, he gave me another set of springs, but I'm not sure they will fix the problems. So I have been shopping full suspension systems. I want to do a level 2 type of thing with full a arms/ trailing/control arms replacements and new springs and shocks all the way around.

So plan for winter is.
Full suspension overhaul.
Disk brakes
New tires
New rims
Efi kit, probably sniper.
New Serpentine set up.
Wipers motor is missing.

So yeah not a small list but nothing crazy hard to do. Will take some monies though.
