Endorse....My plan goes a bit beyond that.
No tube chassis race car. But think somewhere in The middle.

I will continue to skirt around my actually plan. But it needs to be able to bolt to the body. ( like factory)But it will be far from stock.Endorse.

60"What width do you need for your car?

Really you would dump a 8 3/8 for a 9 inch? Is that worth it?Under a grand for the diff, with gears of your choice and Richmond posi
My Fury has an 8 3/4, and this option looks appealing for me too. To upgrade my rear with gears, LSD in a 489 case and add alloy axles etc will cost a ton more and I think the 9" is still stronger.

List is getting shorter by the day.
I am super close for a test drive.
So whats a guy to do?
Well, do something thats not on the list and does nothing for drivability! Of course!
So I decided to tear all the rear trim off and paint!
Little sanding.

The SS cars had a blacked out panel.
Not trying to make it an SS. I just think the blacked out panel adds to the car. Breaks it up some.
I see no problem with using the best styling clues on your car. Its not original and im not trying to sell it for a premium, presenting it as an SS.
But some of the purists won't like it. Fu☆k'em !
I actually like the 66 chevelle slightly better for the front and rear. But they seem to be Slightly higher priced to. I like them all. I want a 68/69 and a 70.I like the black tail panel, when I paint mine it will also be black . And f the purists. I think you should have as much fun as you can and enjoy your car.
That being said I wouldn’t butcher a 138 car that was original, but I also won’t pay the ridiculous price tag to get one so like you I’ll do what ever makes me giggle with my 136 car.
I told you I was doing super important chevelle stuff.I like it, it looks good.
While you were painting/butt dialing, I actually got something productive done.
Fired up the old Javelin...first time since 85!!!
Ran for about 8 seconds. Down here, that's impressive.
