deuling, i think this is what im leaning towards at the moment

Cool man, then the last one could be down the line for gearing, and if not that like said above tranny:doah:.

Im sure if your not wheeling and driving it a ton, the 35s would be fine on your tranny for a little while with out hurting the tranny, just until you have funds for that 3rd wish for re gearing. I would say tires first if you have to wait for a while, because if you get higher gears and dont have funds for the tires afterwards, your gonna hate the highway rpms you will be doing until you get the bigger tires.

Edit: oo scratch that then, I would think those gears are fine for 35s. You should be good to go!!

One thing to think about with the exhaust exiting right after the muffler is if you are stuck and the truck idles for a while it can fill the cab with carbon monoxide.

I always run the exhaust out the back.

Thats not just internet someone told me this once type of thing either, I have seen a couple poeple almost die because of this out on trails before.

there are just so many things that you can do, maybe you should go on another ride and see if you can get 3 more wishes:D

yeah, im lookin at (because i have an exhaust leak at the manifold) hehe hedman headers with super 40 out the back, tires/wheels (darn 8 lug 16's) and maybe just getting my pass. power window working since its going to be hot when i move from oregon to SC with no A/C haha

I say drive the truck some more and keep your wishes for when you're broke down on the side of the road. If you just got the truck, you really have no seat time or confidence (or at least you SHOULDN'T) at this time. I'd wheel it some, drive loooooong distances with it, take it out one night and drive it like you stole it, and then after all this beating.....then consider things to upgrade. It's a b1tch buying things that are cool and running out of money for when drivability problems occur. :doah:I'd spend the wishes on fixing things. Is this your daily driver?

I don't get fumes unless my rear window is down. This style is on both my trucks, it also sounds a lot better with a little piping after the muffler, regardless of what muffler you run.

I agree with K85 about what he said about the muffler and the pipes. Especially in these Blazers, an open Flowmaster is going to resonate like a mofo and drone allllllll dayyyyyyy longggggg and it gets old real quick. I had my truck this way for about 2 months before I got fed up and finally had the exhaust done all the way back, and it makes an ENORMOUS difference.

Yea as small of a thing as it is you might want to get the window fixed, not having ac down here sucks....ask me how I know :doah:

Sad thing is the ac works great in my k5, it's my honda I drive everyday that was hacked up by PO doing the engine swap. In hindsight the 2 should probably be switched, oh well if I sell it I'll just have to make sure to sell it during winter, just like I bought it..."ohhh it has a sunroof, who needs ac?" Not my best decision :haha:

Lockers. 35's. Cut.

Done. Super capable truck with room to grow. Crossover in six or so months with some saved up brownie points.

It was ripped out by previous owner, $$$$ to replace : /
Might check with junkyards. If the PO did not damage the firewall or take out the plenums, you might be able to find the pieces fairly cheap.
Just make sure that the system is still closed off when you get it. It does not have to be full necessarily, just sealed.

Let water get in the lines, and they often will corrode.

Probably all you need is the compressor and bracket, the condenser, and the evaporator.

Hoses, orifice tube, drier, you would want to replace anyway.

D60 for your bigger tires,Regear for your bigger tires, frame and bolt in steering brace for your bigger tires. Money well spent.

Absolutely need a good steering box if your gonna run bigger tires, nothing like tearing up the frame to ruin your day

Offroad Design makes a good setup, you will probably want both the weld in and bolt in kits to ensure years of fun :thumb:

Wish #1: 220V Welder
Wish #2: Tubing bender & small CLR dies
Wish #3: 4-1/2" Grinder for cutoff wheels and flapdiscs

Around here it's "Built Not Bought"...and unless you are the kind of guy that likes paying someone else to make modifications to your truck, tools are the obvious first choice.

:usaflag:

How about a set of balls, wish one, $25 bucks for the membership here you cheap fock, wish two and a thicker skin with ability to take a little razzing you pussy, wish three.

4 inch lift will fit 35's. Just cough it up and do it. a decent set can be had for a grand if you look around. (mounted, balanced)
Check out your local craigslist and find a set with wheels cheap. I got a near new set of 35's on craigslist for $350. with a set of rallies at $80 and some bead blasting and paint $75 I have about $500 into them total.

I wouldnt dump the exhaust at the muffler with a k5 because it will stink up the cab and resonate way too much. go new from the manifolds back with a 3 inch exhaust after the cat out to the end.

A new carpet kit and seat upholstery will work wonders for comfort and looks standpoint. That and some elbow grease. You got a nice rig there and with that and some patient work you could have a capable wheeler/daily driver on your hands. :)
