[FONT=&quot]I just got done lifting my 91 sub. I got it with a 2 inch lift with blocks in the rear. I put in a 4 inch lift from rough country. It rides a bit rough but not terrible. I did before and after measurements from the fender lip to the center of the wheel hubs and raise was 6 inches taller than the 2 inch lift I had. I paid a lot of stupid tax on the stuff that goes with a lift. Rough country's extended brake lines don't work that well. I ended up using lines from a 95 K3500 SRW, just ground the center mounting tab off. The sub sees a lot of highway driving and I needed the swaybar brackets. I used the raised steering arm and that wasn't tall enough to level the drag link. I bought the s shaped drag link and then learned that was a waste of money. I have a drop pitman arm on its way. Cross over steering will come when I break one of the ten bolts and upgrade. I also had to lower the Y pipe to clear the front drive shaft. I haven't measure the U joint angles yet but I don't have any drive line vibration. I will probably stick with 33's till I either spruce up the 350tbi or go to 4.10 axles. Also don't rip on me too bad about the nerf bars. They are for the wife and she holds on to the checkbook.

:waytogo:

And yes, sometimes gotta do stuff just to keep momma happy or so I hear. I ain't married. Although me not doing ghey stuff that often goes against logic just to make a woman happy probably has something to do with me not being married.

Time to get a welder and fab up your own nerfs/rocksliders/steps :D

Thats a cool burb.

BTW your springs should settle some. Last rough country lift I did it settled about 3" in a year. Down to just under a true 4" lift

That rig got driven every day and wheeled dang near every weekend though
