BENDER stays in hibernation with me

Well congratulations on being the first vehicle to summit Everest. Did you take the opportunity to haul down some of the empty oxygen bottles and trash while you were up there? :haha:

Hey where did you get the grille that's on your Blazer now, or was it already on there when you bought it? Mine's about shot and it's pissing me off, so I'm looking at my options for a new one.

So what kind of video are you making?

Just something for Youtube. But my computer and editing software suck, so everything I end up with is WAY short of what I'd like to be doing. I love quality effects and sound, but can't do them. :( I wonder if someone on the boards would like some footage, they could make up a decent video if they have the time.

It's a grille from eBay. $99 a few years ago from a seller somewhere close to Upland CA, but it's dropped shipped from the company. Sorry, too old to be in purchase history. :(

Wow what's next? There's not too much to do after you've gone to outer space and driven on the moon.

Smells like teen spirit paint!! :D

Rustoleum to the rescue! Was lucky enough to have a couple friends free on Sunday, so Bender gets paint :D Foam roller and foam brushed that beatch. Sanded down the rough spots and sticker pin striping, hit with primer spray can, and rolled it. 3 coats, no time for sanding, demolition of warehouse interior scheduled Tuesday :doah:Still gotta do my full doors, but that's easy. The tube doors will stay the darker grey. I like the contrast of the darker grey stuff to the lighter grey :thumb:

I'll rate it a........25-40ft paint job :D:woot:(depending on light)

oh yeah, and the opening in that wall behind the truck wasn't big enough.....so I started the demo early. Evidence by the drywall blood on the front bumper :D

I think it looks good. I used Rustoleum to paint my truck almost 3 years ago, but it started to rust a little after only 2 years. It was pretty rusty before I painted it though. Hopefully yours will stay looking good!

I guess now we have a left coast and a right coast "Bender". :haha:

Moar pictures!!!

No more pictures till it's done and painted :D

And unfortunately it's at the trans shop. Seems it wasn't happy towing the C10 frame around. I think it's leaking from the clocking ring but insure. No time to fix, so I'm having the shop do it. And as an added bonus (since I don't have the room) it can sleep at the shop instead of the street.
