Bent’s power steering office pool

Steering was a little, unsmooth I guess. Pulled the 1/8” fitting and went to a 5/32” (this is what I have traditionally used)

Smoother. Lock pressure stayed the same, 1600 psi

Valve internal parts remained the same
Using 2x #4 washers and stretched the bypass spring to 2”

How difficult would it be to back the pressure down to 1500 or less? Would pulling one washer drop too much?
Curious if there would be any immediate difference now that you have opened up the flow capacity a little.
 
Take about 45 minutes at this point from running to back in service. I’ll try it this weekend and make that decision
 
I ended up buying a PSC pump today with some of that fancy swepco fluid from summit. Figure it can’t hurt.
