Bertha, picking up where Shewheeler left off.

Retarded?

Possibly.

Retarded is a relative term. Some might call this retarded, but I see another free 12HP :pimp:

What do you expect? I have my Pandora on shuffle. All death metal channels with Pasty Cline thrown in to mix it up a little :waytogo:

Ah yes the Patsy Cline song "I dimple two pieces" is a classic!:thumb: carry on!

I got them from a vendor that used to be on Pirate. They are made from 1018 and the set goes from .5" to 2".

And I mash em with this :pimp:

Harbor Freight press with a foot actuated air over hydrolic pump and hydrolic cylinder.

I can simple large quantities of holes very quickly :pimp:

I don't have a lot to show for the last couple weeks.

Being a human juicer for 8 days does absolutely for productivity :doah: Then I had some creative constipation once I got over that, but I'm back on track now :thumb:

I got some new dry powder anti spater spray so that's the white junk at the weld joints on the tube.

Cool. Also got mine from a vendor on pirate. But it was made from 4 something steel. .5-2.5"

I use me an iron worker to do mine. Punch and dimple :D

which cylinder did you use for your press? That's a nice upgrade.

Its just a Black Hawk Porta Power cylinder.

This setup is perfect for dimpling and light stuff up to .125" steel. But to do heavier gauge sheet metal and stuff like ball joints, I put the bottle jack back in.

Work is killin me so progress is painfully slow :doah:

Cutting and notching tubes to finish up the fuel cell mount thingy. Be ready to tack it all together next week. This morning's project was two tubes with this funky notch on both ends.

Thanks a lot guys :thumb:

I love my JMR notcher. I had to make some blocks to bolt under the arbor block to make that offset notch.

Woking 6 long days a week is hurting my progress big time :doah:

You will never guess the purpose of these dodads :pimp:

Well..... They are either templates for trimming your eyebrow hair, or mounting brackets for the fuel cell...

Close :haha:

I needed a way to hold up tubes while fitting other tubes to tubes and tubes :D

And I wanted something adjustable.

One 3/8 turnbuckle,1/2" o.d. tube,1" angle, and a couple washers.

Holding up the other end of this tube is the old "clamp a small piece of angle to the other tube for it to rest on" trick :pimp:

The tools and build are nice, but I'm here for the workbench doodles! :D
