Best backspace for 17x8 wheel on 1/2 Ton axles.

P.O. put some 37x14.50x15 Toyof Open Country M/T's on my truc before it was mine.

Looking at going to a 17x8 wheel with a 35x12.5x17 or 37x12.5x17 wheel.

Just looking for some black steelies and would like to know what the best backspace would be.

When I went looking for eight lugs in 17x9, there was a wide range of 4.5" to 5.0", so it didn't really matter.

Donno about the six lug, you might have more options.

I think they're usually in the 3 3/4" range, give or take 1/4". My 35s on stock 15x8 steels w/ 3.75" bs are just inside the outer edge of the body lines.
