I have a refurbished 18V Milwaukee and it is the biggest piece of s/!t I have ever owned in a power tool. it wont hold a charge for nothing. need to buy a corded sawzall. I like my Dewalt 18V cordless. would buy another one when its time.

Did any of you guys know that Kawasaki makes cordless tools? I met a guy a few weeks ago on a job site who was using a green colored cordless drill. I thought it was a Toshiba cuz there stuff is green, I was surprized to see it said Kawasaki. He said it was a POS and he wished he had gotten a DeWalt.

I've been pretty well satisfied with my Ridgid cordless set and I know for a fact that they're much better than my neighbor's Craftsman cordless tools. I've never used a cordless reciprocating saw, but I don't think they could do much better than my corded Milwaukee Super Sawzall. They may be a little more convenient due to the battery but sometimes you just need some brute force, which a battery absolutely cannot offer. That freakin Sawzall makes the lights dim when I use it and there's no way a cordless tool could come close to that amount of power.

I voted "other" because I have the Craftsman 19.2 volt setup. My only complaint on the drill is that I have worn all the markings off. I haven't used the sawzall much but it has worked well when I use it. Dewalt is just Fancy Black and Decker anyway.

I have a Dewalt 14.4 cordless drill/driver, a Craftsman 19.2, a Dewalt 18V and a Bosch 18V. Hands dwn the Dewalt 14.4 has been great. I've had it for years, the batteries hold a charge (unlike the Craftsman and Deqalt 18V) and it's not too heavy for all day work. I hardly ever use the other drills, but my next choice is the Craftsman. It has levels on top and side, balanced and not too heavy either.
I have a Miwaukee Super Sawzall, and it rocks. Corded. I think cordless just don't deliver enough power.

But you may have different circumstances where mobility is a major factor for your purchase. The best corded sawzall out there is the Milwaukee Super Sawzall hands down.

I'm fed up with cordless crap. I'd rather run a generator and 110volt stuff if I needed to be away from electricity. One thing to note, you can take a 14 volt or even 18 volt cordless and rig a power cable to run off the DC power on your truck.

I love my snap-on 18 volt cordless drill and impact. I also have a 9.6 volt B&D drill that I bought at wal-mart on clearence for $17. I use it for all the light stuff and It's great as well.

The makita is MORE powerful than any other 18 volt on the market
well numbers they tell you aside, the same fastener, the same steel, my year old dewalt with nicd batterys, and his brand new makita fully charged, the dewalt would drive it quicker, every time!
dewalt also just has the most stuff to run off the same batterys, 39 i belive
ihave 9,drill/hammer, trim saw, sawzall, light, impactdriver, grinder, 16ga nail gun, both the shop vac, and the dust buter like vav, and i just ordered a new driver,and the big 350ft/lb impact wrench!

You are missing some important info though. The number of each brand sold.
Lets say you sell 10 Dewalts a day vs 2 Makitas. In returns you get 2 Dewalts vs 1 Makita. While it's true you get double the Dewalts in returns vs the Makitas the more important, or info which makes a big difference, is 20% of the Dewalts get returned compared to the Makita's 50%.

I dont have a cordless Sawzall but I voted Milwaukee as I dont know anyone who has had any issues with theirs. I do have a Milwaukee with a chord and love it. As for drill motors I have a Craftsman, but it was a gift. I havent had any issues with mine and it does everything I need it to.
