Wheels

I think you are looking for peoples thoughts on aftermarket wheels? As the best looking wheels I ever saw on a K5 where those factory wide wheels. I think they where 16" dia. and in the 8 to 10" wide range. Just saw some pics. posted of a Coloradok5 member running a set with TSL's and it looked sweet!
IMO!! Jeff

If anybody can school me on these wheels please do so !

MT II suck . crap for quality and nedd pollising all the time. and centers are junky chrome and rust in 3-5 months. and this is first hand info and i work at a tire store.

well if i dont want black and i dont want stock wat wheel should i look at on a budget?

I right there with your choices.
The MT II's or the alcoas almost have a stock look to them. They are pretty cheap and easy to repalace too.

Steel rims may be a good idea if you are heading into the rocks. How about both?

I got MT classis II's on mine, like the look, next time I polish em, Im gonna zoopseal em, just cause I dont have time to polish em and keep em lookin good. Front look good for along time, but the rears, with my side exit exhaust, get dull looking in about a month.

definately wagon wheel in black or white (white on everythign except for white painted vehicles ;))

yea im at a loss i might get some ar bajas off ebay or the ar outlaw IIs that are cleared both are about $350 with free shippin and free caps, lugs, and stems sounds like a good deal

Forget wagon wheels, they went out in the 1800's.....Welds look the best on almost anything, thats the super single series of course. Not the gangster thug Evos.

I like the h2 wheels myself....$600/set for the 35" BFG's and wheels together..take offs...all over ebay..awesome deal...and they look good too...

i like my eagel 589's better than mickey thompson II's. holes are too big on the mickey's IMO.

on a trail rig nothing looks better than black steel. very tuff. i plan to swap my 15x8 eagles for 15x10 black rockcrawlers.

the single series are still $200 a piece
Maybe for something like a 15x8. a 15x12 is around $250 and go up to about $325, which is about what I payed for my 16.5x14's.
