best options for insuring a mostly stock blazer

Damn you guys all get off cheap. I pay $540 every 3 months for my 2 trucks :eek1:. Full coverage on the dodge and basic liability on the chevy. Course Jersey likes to assrape everyone when it comes to car insurance. Oh and I'm 28 with no tickets either.
Welcome to New Jersey, now payup sucker :thumb: Can't wait till I move from this state, too damn expensive.

dang!!

I pay $75 now, thats with a speeding ticket, and a collision
2 pts on record.!

I looked into AAA because my buddy pays $90 for full coverage on his rig so i figured PLPD would be better. Nope same price there as everywhere else. Wtf?????? I literally have nothing wrong with my record, idk

It's not you, it's just the system. Insurance is one of those things everyone loves to hate until they need it.

Threads like this are just proof how screwed up the whole system is. Obviously there are many factors (like I posted earlier) BUT look at the swing in what people are paying in this thread and it doesn't seem to have much of a correlation to what they're insuring.

Guys insuring $3k trucks and others insuring $30k trucks and paying similar rates.

Makes me want to just trailer my little blazer to the dunes, not because it deserves being trailered, but because as a 20 year old kid i cant afford to insure 2 vehicles and also drive the blazer with how high gas is getting. It makes me want to just keep it in the garage and keep fixing stuff and mke it a sweet rig, but never be able to drive it haha.

Few more years and your rates will go down. My rates were similar until I turned 25 then they went down. My rates still are not great but they are worth it. I pay 240 a month for full coverage on my dmax, and my wifes jetta, and plpd on the k20, and renters insurance. Once I buy my house and can bundle everything it will be even cheaper. It also depends on your area, living in Ann Arbor doesn't help my case. Lots of loaded college kids driving around.

$240 a month isn't that bad for what you are insuring. I pay $220 a month for house, three cars, boat. and personal property.

$770 a year

Minimum Liability only (which I'm thinking is dumb now, never thought I'd have to argue I'm not at fault:doah:)
2001 S10
1985 Blazer

It's because "drivers under 25". they just rape you till you turn 25.. then it gets a little cheaper..

and yeah I just have CA state minimum.... cant really afford anything else.. cant afford this even

You really do have to check around as there are so many factors that influence cost, a big one is deductible, even your credit score and of course everything varies by state. I have a pretty good rate with Progressive. You can get some quick online quotes here.

I pay 74 a month through geico, bare minimum liability on my 2000 isuzu hombre and the 78 k10.

And I have three accidents, four speeding tickets, and nevada takes into account if you've ever been arrested before other wise it'd be like 54 a month. and I'm 22
