heres a few places...

Other than a new GM part from a dealer,I have bought brand new exhaust manifolds from our local junkyards, they carry a line of NEW ones, along with leaf springs, harmonic balancers and many other parts--the manifolds I bought for a friends ford 351 truck motor were 55 bucks apeice!..dealer wanted 110,and had to order them...most of the other one I bought were under 100 bucks, and much cheaper than OEM--and the ford manifolds came in a ford box!

Here is a place that I think is where the yards get their parts from--their ad is in a trade journal they send to the junkyards--they sell flywheels(including the dual mass 6.5 diesel and 7.3 ford ones),oilpans, harmonic balancers, timing covers, and rebuilt standard tranny's,including NV4500's....new LUK clutches..

If'n your big block is like the smalls, the passenger side one cracks. The dealer carries them -- in stock! -- to the tune of $250+.

The junkyards don't have them used, since they ALL crack ... but, they have new, aftermarket, ones of a different design... and more like $120-150, IIRC.

I got one for my '90 Burb -- again, with a 350, not a 454 -- but it won't crack, had all the AIR hookups and whatnot, and was cheaper than the OE one which will crack.

Went with American made ATP's out of texas....
came to 189 at my door for both...
could have gotten imports cheaper but these are real nice quality....

they went on this afternoon like butter....

After much research I found Dorman has them in their catalog... Kragen
Autozone sell junkers for 121.00 (a rip )
ATP's I found locally.... after some cross referrencing

Its funny ... the chinese ones had lifetime warranties and the domestic had 1 year....go figure... anyway I bought american,,,,

they even have OEM part numbers on them

I had to reuse my heatshield.. fortunately it was excellent

the old ones shrank and I didnt want to mill them to make them fit,,, they dont last long that way

thanks for the tips all
