Best place to get The Banks System???

Most of what I did is on my CarDomain:

I did reorient the front battery. However I also have the original size HUGE tractor batteries. If I was running regular car/truck batteries it wouldn't have been so hard for me. In fact you can fit two regular batteries on the rear tray.

As far as the intake...no, not yet. I have a bootyfab'd setup that is craptacular but works when it stays together. I am going to be looking for a factory setup, or at least the part on the core support, soon. Right now Big Ugly is still in Michigan so it's no point in me getting one now.

Well I've got 3 of them, and I have the P400 on order. I really like the 6.2/6.5

I figure it was gonna be 2500.00 thats how much i paid for the last one . I'm just looking for a preferred vendor.

Bank's website still lists the kit in Multiple part #'s
I'm just looking for a vendor to sell me a couple kits

What is the P400 going in? I want pics :deal:

Well I dont have pics of the K10 its at my dads In MN but I might put it in my 91 Burb .......so I might end up buying 2 P400'

hahaha, No I just dont have ANY payments . I own all my vehicles and my house

so the turbo will hit the ac box?? dont know all i have is cucv. no ac.

Any reason not to use the GM turbo and just make your own exhaust manifold?

Actually the GM8 is a great turbo, the manifold is the problem.
You can make a manifold, but it's probably not worth it.
The aftermarket manifolds are cheap enough that it's easier to buy them.

I never really cared for the GM turbos. IMO a wastegated T3, wastegated TO4 (which would need a T3-T4 adapter flange), Holset HY35 or HX35 is a better choice.

I don't know of the patterns of the GM turbo's versus others, but about aftermarket manifolds, I know you can buy the Banks manifold alone from Banks.
Arveetek on this board did just that he didn't use the gm turbo but he pieced his system together:

The GM turbos use the T3 mounting flange. Other common turbos that use it are, of course, the T3 Garrett turbos, the new med. frame Garrett GT turbos, the "smaller" Holset turbos (i.e. H1C, WH1C, HX35, HY35) and many others.

LOL I'm not cutting m A/C lol not when theres a better option

Aren't the HX35 and HY35 5.9 cummins turbos? Would they work well on the 6.2? What about using the turbo from a 6.9/7.3 Ford?

Yes, the HX35 and HY35 are used on 5.9 Cummins apps. The HY35 will give nearly instant spool up, while the HX35 will be a bit slower to spool but have less backpressure. Both are wastegated to 18-20psi, so a different wastegate actuator would be needed on the 6.x to keep boost pressure reasonable.

I don't know what turbos are used on the aftermarket 6.9/7.3 kits, so I can't say there...
