This is a Powermaster 9600 on my truck (168 tooth flywheel, SBC with Hedman stainless headers) not sure if the pic helps.. Battery cable had gotten hot with the last setup, only complaint is that the terminals aren't all on the "inboard" side of the starter to keep them better protected. Starter mount is a bit close to the header, but poly engine/trans mounts, doesn't contact. Could trim the starter mount if I had to obviously.
Also managed to run it with one bolt, when one fell out on a decently long road trip lol.
Got the starter for free from a guy, had been running it on his circle track car for awhile. No idea why or what he changed to. Cranks the L31 effortlessly, so much better than the original starters, in pretty much every regard.
