Im getting to order my shackle flip. I did a search and came up with nothing. Which is the best shackle flip and why. Let me here them.:popcorn:
 
I like the way the DIY4X looks the best and it fit great. It is very well built. :waytogo:
 
Kerts...because its what I got, and its just plain stout.
 
I am very pleased with my ORD shackle flip, 1/4" plate steel, gussets out the wazoo, and even comes with the grade 8 mounting hardware. Mine was a perfect fit, I can't say much on the other shackle flip kits cuz I haven't tried them out, but you can't go wrong with ORD :waytogo:
 
well i made my own shackle flip that works pretty good if you brace it. for the truck im building im goin with diy4x, his parts are rediculous strong
 
I don't think you will find anyone disappointed with either DIY4X's or ORD's products. They both work great! ORD works with the stock shackle while DIY uses an aftermarket one. I guess it is like the saying, "Love the one you're with."
 
I have the ORD flip on my Z-71 and the DIY flip on my K5. IMHO both are very well built, you can't go wrong with either. :waytogo:

I built my own b/c of some custom issues I needed to deal with but I used Kert's cross-tied shackles and his bushings and sleeves to build it. He's a top notch fabricator and I wouldn't hesitate you put anything he built on my rig. one more vote for Kert, I would have used his if I had the frame left to mount it on lol...
 
ORD flip on my buggy....was buying a bunch of parts from them at the time...I use Kerts stuff too....Both companys are outstanding with their service and support....

can't make a bad choice with either one ...:waytogo:
 
I have the ORD shackle flip on my K30, but after looking into the DIY4X ones a little, I ordered them for my buddies K10 I worked on. I prefer the DIY4X to the ORD ones, and that has nothing to do with strength. Both are very sturdy, well built pieces. I just prefer the DIY4X ones because they use external shackles. That makes it much easier (and cheaper) to fine tune your shackle length. Another nice feature was the crosslinks with the captured nuts. Making the install easier. I also believe the DIY4X ones are just a touch cheaper.

Couldn't agree more. I only have ORD flip, but have other products from DIY on the jimmy. Both companies deal in quality stuff and great customer service.
