I'd look into a TBI spacer. on the Show Two Guys Garage, they put a Trans Dapt Performance Swirl Torque spacer on their 92 305 and in produced more power you'd think. If you do a TBI spacer, then you need to get the fuel line extenders with it.

I am about to put an intake and 2 inch carb spacer on my carbed 305. I got the Trans Dapt Swirl Torque, I will put it in soon and we will see how it does.

Also Edelbrock has intake manifolds for TBI and are emissions legal.

Edelbrock also makes shroty headers that are a direct bolt in that have all the O2 sensors and all the other fittings on them. The only problem is that they are expensive, but they are a quality piece.
Also make sure you do all you engine/exhaust upgrades before you put a chip in it.

I recomend hopping on Summit Racing web site and see what they offer for your Blazer.

dont waste your money on spacers. buy a good intake first, the flow on the stock TBI intake is retarded. might even look into a Performer intake with a TBI adapter.

if you bought into the "swirl torque" you might want to look into one of these too... http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294908216+4294908215+4294925023&autoview=sku

i had Edelbrock headers on my TA. good fit and finish, but nothing really to write home about, just a good quality header. not really worth the extra $$$ IMO.

with my stock 10 bolts?

i was just lookin into a new edelbrock intake for the TBI engine and those headers...but that would require some saving for a couple of months...and for right now i just want to do something that would be good to take it for a little wheeling...not too much but some...

quick easy way to get a gear upgrade, brake upgrade, and an axle upgrade is a set of axles with better gears from under a K20. they'll bolt right in no problem. 3.73s and 4.10s are common, with the latter being more common. couple that with your 700R4 and 33s, and you'll be in good shape, and wont have to worry about breaking a rear axle.

hmmmm....sounds like a fun summer job after i get my rot work done....how much would one of those axles run me?

ive seen em go for anywhere from $150-400 a set. try setting up a set of new gears in ONE axle for that price, for that kind of cheese, you get both axles... better gears, a damn near bulletproof rear, and bigger brakes.

which axles are in the k20 anyway?

should be a D44 or GM 10bolt front, and a FF14rear, or if from the 80's possibly a SF14

Don't wanna have that one on video.
yeah you gotz to be sneaky.

although i did mean to type "rap" there. i think there are 4 or 5 typos in that post alone :haha:

Hey why not roller rockers? Or braded stailess steal brake lines(if it didn't come with the lift)

Roller rockers will run you about $150. SHould get a little more kick from the motor.

I am a big believer in braded stainless brake lines. They don't expand as you hit the brakes so you get more pedal pressure and reduced stopping distance. They were a great addition to my truck and I highly recomend them.

a "little" more kick is absolutely right. not worth spending the $150 on, the gain is so small.

you are right about the braided brake lines though. also, along with a 14FF comes cheap disc brake upgrades. check you www.diy4x.com :deal:

well if not too hard core.. id say gears and or locker(s)

I used to run a 3" body lift and 33's..... open axles and 3.73's with a turbo 400...

was a fun truck to drive... got stuck only a few times due to knowing my limits... now with lockers I am having problems finding that limitation!!!!!

When rebuilding my 350 i installed a comp extreme energy 262 cam. Now it has great off idle torque and has awesome throttle response, not to mention that it pulls hard from idle to 6000 rpm's. It also had no adverse effect on the computer. It does have a noticeable idle which is further helped by the flowmasters and turndowns.

yeah also a cam can be cheap if you know how to do it....
if you have a roller cam it will cost you more...

that cam you listed is about $119 on summitracing.com
I bought Xtreme 4x4 X4258HR Cam for $250!!!

then gaskets... $100 roughly....

also holley makes an intake... just look at my sig... now i know you all are talking tbi and mine is a carb.... but the edelbrocks were $245 and this one cost me new to my door for $120!!!!!! tabbed on with my cheap price of $200 for vortec heads....
